I lecture using a tablet PC connected to a projector. Everything I write is uploaded in PDF format to the course website where it remains available for all to see. We'll have a record of what I present at each lecture, with a time stamp for that day.

If you want a quick response, the best way to contact me is by email to lucio.tavernini@utsa.edu. As a rule, I do not return phone calls and seldom check my voice mail. Class policies regarding missed exams, personal emergencies and other class issues are spelled out in detail in the syllabus for each course section. I can answer technical questions by attaching a PDF file with handwritten information (using mathematical symbols, sketches and diagrams).

If you wish to discuss "personal issues," we'll do so only by email. This is the best way to generate a written record of whatever we discusss. Keep in mind that there are no provisions for my giving you "extra work" to improve your grade or exams outside the schedule given in the syllabus for your course section.
